Obviously I didn't include the "R.K." interludes on this because it's not actually music. The actual music we do get on Spiritual Machines is pretty incredible though. No album has a better top four than this one. Yes that is four top 20 entries. With only one in the bottom 20. (Stupid Junkie song.)
A controversial listing is probably Middle of Yesterday. I don't think anyone likes that song as much as me. And even if you do like it, you wouldn't put it at number 8 overall. You definitely wouldn't put it ahead of such fan favorites as Life and Right Behind You (Mafia). Could someone please explain to me what is the point of the (Mafia) in that song title? It's always bothered me. Made to Heal is another one that I really like that's probably a bit too high for some. Yes this is my top ranked album for sure. I would say from everything I've read, that Clumsy or Spiritual Machines are the two most beloved OLP albums. The fact that they recently toured these two albums exclusively pretty much seals that deal.
