5 Greatest NBA Franchises

Keep in mind this is for the franchise's ENTIRE history, not just a single season.  So all you ridiculous Bulls fans screaming, "HOW CAN THE '96 BULLS NOT BE NUMBER ONE!?!"  just remember that they weren't always that dominate. 5. Philadelphia 76ers *3 NBA Titles *68 Win Season 4th best record ever (1967) *.531 Regular season winning percentage *.514 Playoff winning percentage *Made playoffs 47 of a possible 64 times Philly is often an overlooked franchise it seems.  Iverson never brought them to the promised land, although he did get close.  Barkley had the same trouble.  Dr. J and Moses Malone brought them their last ring, but it seems ages ago.  Still, Philly usually makes the playoffs even today, and the legends that have worn the colors is a very strong list indeed. 4. 3rd Annual All-Star Game Gripe

I actually don't have much too complain about this year.  If you want to read volumes 1 and 2 which are full-blown rants click here and here. So the breakdown goes something like this: West Paul, Bryant, Durant, Griffin, Howard East Rondo, Wade, James, Anthony, Garnett That's really not too bad.  I guess that technically makes the second year in a row that I've thought that.  It really makes a difference not having the Yao Mings and Allen Iversons in the NBA anymore.  I'm not the biggest fan of the Wade and Garnett selections, but I'm not mortified by them either.  The one issue I'll address is Dwight Howard.  My first instinct is that "He doesn't deserve it."  By why is that?  Is it because the Lakers are losing?  Is he not living up to his high standards?  Well statistically he's not really that far off.  17.7 PPG 12.7 RPG 2.6 BPG vs. career totals of 18.4 PPG 13.0 RPG 2.2 BPG His scoring his down a bit...

As you can see, he is deceptively athletic, and can go with the big boys when necessary.  But that's not his main M.O.  He is in my opinion, the greatest comedic wrestler ever.  This video highlights all of his shenanigans.  He dances with his opponents.  He infuriates the referees to the point of getting clocked by them.  He tries moves like the Van Terminator and comes up a bit short.  His most famous exploit is his slow motion attacks, ...
