Jar of Flies

  1. Nutshell (7)
  2. No Excuses (56)
  3. I Stay Away (130)
  4. Don't Follow (134)
  5. Rotten Apple (153)
  6. Whale & Wasp (209)
  7. Swing on This (229)
I debated quite a bit in whether to even include this one or not.  Being a short EP instead of the full-length LP that all the other albums are, does it have an unfair advantage of: less songs = less filler?  Or, do you look at it from the standpoint of: less songs = bigger chance of one song bringing down your average?  Eventually I settled on rewarding "Nutshell" because it's a freakin' amazing song.  Depending on my mood, it could probably rise to a top three song for me.  Even at seven, it's kicking most others' asses.  I've always really liked "No Excuses" as well, so that sealed the deal.  Conversely "Swing on This" is an atrocious song.  Someone get me a barf bag.
