You always hear about bands' "sophomore slump."  Clearly CS didn't suffer from that with their sophomore output being their best work.  So I always kind of considered this their "junior slump."  That is until I re-listened to it for this little project.

Now when you look at it at a glance, there isn't one song in the top 20, and three in the bottom 20.  So yeah on paper that doesn't look real promising.  But it does have four songs in the top half overall, and they are really good songs.  The thing that separates this album from say "Hints..." is that it doesn't have that one monster hit on it.  I don't know if they put out a greatest hits collection if anything from this album would even make it on the list.  That being said, this isn't a total damning statement.  The band has been around since '93 and have 106 songs to choose from, so something is bound to be left off.

This album is pretty chill compared to most of their work, (with the exception of Precious Declaration, which is more upbeat) and most of the songs are nice run of the mill CS music.  Which if you are reading this, I'm sure you know that that's not a bad thing.  If you're in the right type of mood, I could definitely see this being a good "listen."  (Excellent pun right there!)  Nothing will knock your socks off, but by no means is this a bad album.
