Some pretty iconic players from the 90's were draft this year. Not too many people didn't love Shawn Kemp in mid-90's, myself included. I loved watching that guy dunk. For any younger readers, he was like Blake Griffin is today, but maybe even better. Vlade was one of the first really successful European players in the NBA, who is most known now for being traded for Kobe on draft night in '96. Glen Rice was one of the best shooters of the era, as was Nick Anderson, also now known as the guy who choked the free throws in the '95 Finals. The best player of the draft was Tim Hardaway, now a hall of famer, and the innovator of the "killer crossover." Had injuries not plagued him, he could be in the conversation for greatest point guard ever. The steal of the night was Cliff Robinson at 36, who was a vital to Portland's great teams of the early 90's, and had a long productive career after the fact. Another fun fact is B.J. Armstrong was my favorite player when I was a tiny little guy, and the reason I liked the Bulls in elementary school. My heart was crushed when they traded him in '95.
