These guys are still young guns, so this is probably the newest class I will do. The obvious blunder of the night was Greg Oden at number 1. Had Oden not been possibly the most injury-prone player ever and lived up to being worthy of a number 1 pick, would he still have been better than Durant? If Durant retired today, he would probably be a hall of famer already. Who else post-LeBron's draft could say that? The answer is nobody.
I don't know what happened to Aaron Brooks, but he used to be really good. Josh McRoberts is the best passing big man that no one knows about. Mike Conley is one of the best point guards that nobody talks about. Remember when Glen Davis was a contributor?
Marc Gasol was the steal of the draft, but before he was a developed NBA All Star he was part of the infamous trade for his brother in 2008 that people called the most lopsided NBA trade ever, until Marc developed into one of the best centers in the game.
If you are wondering who Yi Jianlian is, you're not alone. His best season was 12 and 7 year for the Nets in 2010. Not bad, except for the fact he was nearly voted in as an All Star started due to his nationality. Thankfully he didn't get voted in by the fans, and the coaches aren't morons so he didn't make the All Star team. He only lasted 5 seasons, and the last 2 he barely played. He also was the biggest bust of this fairly decent draft. Time will tell, but I would almost call it one of the better ones, at least in recent memory. (Probably because these guys are all in their prime right now so they look better than their overall career actually will be.)
