Wrestlemania 28 Predictions and Thoughts
Rock vs. Cena: Cena needs to win this. Rock doesn't. Plain and simple. Rock winning doesn't accomplish anything.
Undertaker vs. HHH: Not sure what I think about two geezers going into the cell. Either way I think Taker wins. And by think, I mean know. Maybe I'm being harsh, should be good.
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho: This match is the Steamboat/Savage compared to Rock/Cena's Hogan/Andre. (Did you catch all that?) No one is paying to see this one, but will be the best match on the show that everyone leaves talking about. I'm picking Punk. Mainly because I'm not entirely convinced Jericho is back for the long haul. Either way the fans are the real winners.
Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus: This match could be very good. Daniel Bryan is amazing and I hope they give them both plenty of time to go at it. I never would have dreamed in a million years that Bryan Danielson would be in a main event of Wrestlemania, and here we are. Truly amazing and wonderful. Too bad Sheamus will win because HHH loves the guy.
Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes: Rhodes has to win this one.
Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny: Heels usually win these, so team Ace.
Orton vs. Kane: Kane is much like Big Show in that he usually is there to put people over at WM. Naturally golden boy Orton wins clean.
Divas tag match: Celebrity always wins at WM. So Kelly and Maria will be celebrating.
WWE Tag Title Match: Can you believe this was even added? I'm saying the Gabriel and Kidd combo will win the belts and hopefully add some cred to them like Air Boom was supposed to do.
Overall the lack of matches should be a good thing. More time for each. It will be much better than last year's 'Mania, which honestly wouldn't take much.
