Colt Cabana and the Art of Wrestling

Hello there wrestling fans.  Is there any left nowadays?  Hopefully so because I got some good news to share with you.  There is a great podcast called "The Art of Wrestling" and it's hosted by Colt Cabana.  My guess is you either said, "Who?" or "Sweet I love Colt!"  If you love Colt and all his zaniness, it's all here.  If you are unfamiliar with Mr. Cabana, here is a nice example of his exploits.  Yes it's ridiculous and that's the point.  The man is a great wrestler, but he enjoys having fun with things.

"I'm not a wrestling fan, would I enjoy it?"  I'm not going to guarantee that you would, but it is interesting to listen to, if nothing else.  Basically he updates you on what he's been doing, then plays a ridiculous wrestling song, (there is way too many to count, and he plays them from all time periods) then has an interview with someone within the wrestling industry.

Obviously some of his ROH (Austin Aries, Davey Richards, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels) and indy buddies are interviewed, and you can tell they enjoy shooting the breeze, and crack many jokes along the way.  It's a shoot interview to an extent, but they talk about things off of wrestling topics too.

"My favorite wrestler is John Cena, is he ever on there?"  No, not at the moment.  (Probably never I'm guessing?  I'm sure he would love to have him on there though, his downloads would go through the roof!)  I'm not saying he will be, but obviously WWE tickles your pickle so how about CM Punk, Evan Bourne, Curt Hawkins, Luke Gallows, Iron Shiek, Hurricane Helms, Sunny, X-Pac, and Daivari?  Not exactly Cena or Orton, but a pretty good lineup.

So now you're thinking, "I really don't give a crap what Luke Gallows has to say."  I totally understand.  I didn't either.  But as I listened to some of my favorites like Punk, Austin Aries, Davey Richards, I decided that this podcast was too good to exclude some episodes.  Let me tell you something, I haven't listened to a boring one yet.  Yes even Luke Gallows was entertaining.  As a matter of fact, he is funny as hell!

I think that's kind of the point.  Colt wants you to get to know guys that he feels are good people that you may not have a chance to know much about due to whatever reasons, and in turn, maybe he can turn you into a fan of Luke Gallows (or whoever) in the process.

Yeah I'm a wrestling nerd, and I've always liked Colt, so I may be a little biased here.  But if you got an hour to spare sometime check it out. http://www.welovecolt.com/ You can listen to it at his site, and if you really like it, you can subscribe for free on itunes.

Thanks for reading, and BOOM BOOM!
