Aaron Lewis In Concert Is Incredible
If you don't know who Aaron Lewis is, get familiar with him. He's the lead singer of Staind, and he currently has a country CD out. I personally hate country music, but I knew he would play some Staind songs, and his voice is so amazing that I probably would have went even if he didn't.
It was general admission, so me and my buddy got right up front. We were in awe for the whole night. He interacted with fans, sang his heart and soul out, and everyone went home happy. Yeah, he played "Country Boy," but also the Staind staples like, "It's Been A While," "Outside," "So Far Away," "Epiphany," and some more obscure ones "Please" and "Intro." He did some covers too. A few were mockeries, for example a fan yelled out "PURPLE RAIN!" so he did his best Prince impersonation. He also did "Patience" by GNR, and surprisingly sounded similar to Axl.
Aaron's song writing is top notch, and I defy you to name a current artist that can compete. You add that on top of his voice, and you have one talented man. My bro said, "He could probably sing 'London Bridge' and it will still sound good." I think he's right. And all doubts were cast aside for the encore when Mr. Lewis told the crowd to quiet down, and proceeding to walk to the edge of the stage and sing "Intro" no mic, no guitar amps, just him and the power of his voice and acoustic guitar. It was crazy-powerful!
Aaron Lewis is not only on the verge of victory, he dominated it in spectacular fashion.
