We make it to the final entry of the albums I thought could have been number one.  Eighth place and a nice chunk of points behind Get Born, also just barely beating out the ninth place is pretty wild to me.  I love this album plain and simple.  Two songs in the top 10?  You better believe it.  Sixteen Stone has two in the top 10, but whereas it has songs number 3 and 9, Collective Soul (this self titled album) has songs 2 and 8!

With two elite songs, to then drop-off from eight to 52 is quite substantial. It does stay in the "really good" territory for a nice chunk of the middle, but like another contender, Sixteen Stone, the bottom songs are really bad.  They aren't quite as bad as Sixteen Stone's though, with the bottom three being in the bottom 35.
