- Hello Oskar (86)
I've read things in the past that has claimed Hello Oskar as OLP's worst song, and I can't dispute those facts. It's not worst overall, but it's close. Which naturally hurt the overall ranking of what many consider their top album. Also, much like Starseed my opinion on Clumsy the song is rather similar. It's probably even more popular than Starseed, but I rank it as a mid-level song yet again. I'll say it's grown on me a bit over the years, but still nowhere near the acclaim it gets from most.
The album as a whole had three songs (which is second most) in the top 20. 4AM topped in at 7, Superman's Dead at 13, and finally Automatic Flowers squeaking in at number 20. Conversely it had four songs in the bottom 20. Which is the second most of any album. But that is a really good encapsulation of the album to me. What's good is great, but what's bad is really bad. (I told you I had unpopular opinions.)
